	GR Sites is without a doubt the best site for making your own backgrounds. You can upload your image and change the colors to match your page or you can pick from their lists. You can choose textured, gradient or text backgrounds to generate.

	Ultras
	Ultra has a great selection of countdown banners covering just about every special occasion you can think of. Included also is a generator for creating a personalized counterdown banner for your birthday, anniversary, vacation or anything else you have upcoming.
	Javascript Countdown Generator
	This generator can be customized for any event. Insert the occasion, date, and set the colors. You can also add your own image. The generator creates the code.


	My Imager
	This site offers a multitude of generators for editing your images. It works for both jpg and gif images. Images are uploaded straight from your computer.

GR Sites

I use GR Site to make most of my logos under the 2D Logos section. It offers a variety of designs, special effects and font sizes. In addition, logos can be made by uploading your background images straight from your computer.

Although this site is free, there are limits to what you can do when making labels and logos. The small cost of becoming a member is worth it and the possibilities for creation are endless.

My Imager

My Imager has a really nice text generator using your own images. It offers a variety of fonts and you have the opportunity to place the text where you want it. Your images are uploaded straight from your computer.

	Piano Lady
	I like this site. There's nothing to join - just a huge selection of music. To save the music, right click and 'save target as' to your computer. She has a free site so once and a while you will get a 'cannot display' message. Just try again later.
